the spring/chain combo is the way to go, the chain has enough slack in it if you short stroke the press it will not double charge, and the spring make for constant return of the powder hopper with no chance of anything breaking.just my 2 cents worth.

Mike with your setup you still would have an issue of a double charge. with my setup the chain has enough slack to keep the powder measure from re-setting if you should short stroke the machine, also unhooks from the top at the powder measure to change out turrets.

Here is what i did to solve the space problem on my bench. I built it so the boards slide out to remove the press not in use. then i just slide a blank board in to give me room to work and make a flat table top.I store the presses not in use up top on the shelves. out of the way. I hope you can see ...

Mike, i just got home and checked mine and is the same as yours .002 slides in under the pin .003 just touches it a bit. My thought is maybe the pin itself is out of tolerance. If used for awhile maybe the shelf the primer pin sits on might wear down just a little???I know there is no stress on it ju...

prs, It was pretty easy, I'm not as inventive as Darwin so I just used a piece of hard plastic from the packaging from a Kimber magazine and trimmed it to fit in the door opening and extended it into the bottom and cut a hole in it and slid it down over the carrier bolt and replaced the flat metal p...

I ordered a new one from Titian(they had them on sale for 19.75) and got it in the mail today.(I ordered 2 and some other spare parts just to help offset the shipping.) I just ...

try loosening the knurling nut on the shell plates just a little not so much that the shell plate rotates backward. I had the same trouble until my indexing rod got worn in. As your index rod starts to get worn you can tighten it down a little more. Worked for me.
