Re: Should I try the priming system?

If the lion is peacefully sleeping, I recommend not poking him.

Re: No oiling hole?

You can, if you are so inclined, take the ram out of the press and drill and tap a hole for a grease zerk. If you do this, I would recommend that you use a Dremel tool or the like with a 1/8" diameter ball cutter in it and grind a groove around the bore of the press from the hole and back to al...

Re: So I've gotten Mike's goodies...

Now that you have the shim thing figured out you can actually not use the turret locking screw as the five setscrews in the stabilizer plate will hold the turret in place. Because of this you may now "clock" the turret into proper alignment with the shellplate if needed. With the stabilize...

Re: So I've gotten Mike's goodies...

It appears if I understand what you are saying, that the top surface of the turret is slightly below the top surface of the press frame when the turret is pulled up against the locking lugs in the frame. If this is the case, when you put the turret stabilizer on and install the dies the turret will ...

Re: So I've gotten Mike's goodies...

Octopuss, Did you not get the instructions for the Turret Stabilizer and the Billet Turret? If not, let me know and I can send you a PDF. If you install the turret alone in the press and it does not have any vertical play then Mr. Lee's machining is the culprit. Imagine that! When the turret alone i...

Re: 9MM Resizer/Decapper Die Issues

The rod is being held in the die body Lee's version of a screw-in collet. If the rod is not centered in the die body when the collet is tightened either the rod is bent or the collet through hole is not straight. Also, the collet could be good and the tapped hole in the die body could be crooked. I ...

Re: Issues with new Lee parts

Here's the deal on the new style shellplates. 1. In the early going, the pentagon shape on the underside of the shellplate was not perfectly centered about the center hole. Because of this, the plates bind up in two or three adjoining locations. The index rod simply gets pinched between the carrier ...

Re: Case feeder nightmare

I have found that applying a shot or two of dry film chain lube to the case slider runway on the carrier solves the chattering problem. I apply it both top and bottom. Never have put anything on the square rod. I just make sure that it is about 1/4" away from the carrier and parallel to it. I a...

No, I do not make any shellplates but I do provide the modification to the 6s shellplate for use with 9mm if you would like it done.
