Thank you :D It is perhaps somewhat exaggerated but for me it works perfect meanwhile. I load all my 9mm IPSC stuff on it. @wrinkles: I used a kind of telescopic feed tube. The lower part is fixed in the cylinder plate of the press. The upper part is attached to the feeder. Both tubes silde into one...

Till now it works better than expected. I dare to say that this solves the major problem of the press fundamentally.

Lee Pro 1000 Prime Feed Modification

Hello,

as you know one of the mayor problems of the Lee presses is the primer feed mechanism. Therefore i made a little mechanism wich pushes the primers into place.

Do you have a sensor for low powder?

No. Not till now 8)
But to check the powder is the only thing i have to do myself (except pulling the lever). So it´s ok for me.

For now the last thing i plan to do is to improve the primer feeding mechanism.

I made some more pictures today wich show more details. As you can see most of the modifications have some hillbilly style but they work  This is the home made case collator. It works the same way as the ones from Dillon or Hornady. It fills up the case tube wich feeds the 1k. The computer syst...
