Along those lines, with 5 dies I have never been able to run more than one case through without issue. No issues when running a single case through to completion. Don't have the time to determine why, I can still pump out some ammo at a good pace

I have one and highly recommend it. Two suggestions, One use a good metering powder...I use Ramshot Silhouette and it meters like water (you will get a tiny bit of spillage, but I got that in the disks as well.) Two, make sure you tap the measure a few times if you are going single stage or if progr...

Well I finally got all my stuff in and tried to full length resize on the LM with some LC brass. I thought I was going to break the press. Commercial 308 was ok, still much more pressure than I like both ways. But the thicker 7.62 LC was not happening. I could see the shell plate begging for mercy o...

It was just a question and I just answered it by the way I do it. Sorry if I ruffled your feathers!!! Rufflled feathers ?? not hardly..I don't get upset, or care, how others want to process their brass OR run their machines, that would be kinda silly now wouldn't it...LOL, just surprised nobody use...

Thanks for all the input guys. That's kinda what I was getting at, the sizing on the LM, it kinda puts a kink in running full progressive since you need to trim/chamfer after sizing. I really would not want to get a single stage just for sizing and space is limited. I'm thinking I could just put my ...

I just finished loading 500 rounds of 308 with the 168 gr bthp Sierra bullet. I size and trim all first, tumble to get the lube off and then load with the LM. Station 1-Universal decap die(mostly to get any mediaI might have missed out) Station 2-Lyman M die, Station 3 Auto disk measure with double...

Thanks for the input motopic, I'm using 168gr sierra BTHPs so seems like I'm good with the FCD. Probably generalized a bit much on that statement, Just been doing a lot of reading here, and others mention the force required to full length size rifle causes the plate to angle a bit. Also the need to ...

Getting ready to start reloading rifle (.308 Win)

Hi all, I just got a FN FNAR and am doing the website rounds to get all the components. I ordered a Lee deluxe 308 die set, zip trim, gauge, perfect powder measure, universal charging die, cutter, chamfer tool and a factory crimp die Since this is a semi auto, I will be using the full length sizing ...

Using winchester LP right now, but almost out and will need to switch to my wolf primers.

Still need to play with it using Mike's suggestion, life gets in the way of reloading too darn much lol.

Re: ?

what pistol are you shooting? Iam Shooting some nines, I gotta check ammo when my sig comes back from platers against my other nine. I had lots of lite strikes with one nine pistol. My 45s are doing good. Guess its than one pistol. Looks like a primer is a primer, its suppose to be level. Sig 938 w...

Put the sizing die in station 2....getting smileys

Hi all, I've seen many people here suggest doing this so I decided to give it a shot as I was getting a few sideways primers. (I'm only doing 45 acp LPP) After doing so, I got smileys so I backed off the depth adjustment until they were gone, but I had several misfires on that batch, like 5/150. A s...

I pretty much gave up on the case feeder, watched pretty much every video on the net. Spent about 6 hours trying to get it working correctly. I'd get it to work for a a little bit, but it'd start binding up the press, cases wouldn't drop because it didn't move enough...just a mess. It seems to be a ...
