Re: Case feeder nightmare

I don't use the case feeder anymore. The moment I took it off, the Loadmaster and I started getting along much better.

Re: Convert LoadMaster to load 223 or buy single stage or turret?

I didn't care for the Auto Disk powder measure for the 223. I use a Hornady Lock N Load powder measure on my 223 Load Master set up.

I don't use federal pistol primers and I can tell you that that shield has saved my bacon on two separate occasions. Cheap insurance.

When I couldn't get the case inserter to stay in adjustment for a length of time that pleased me it would basically screw up my rythem resulting in flipped primers and crushed sliders. As strange as this sounds coming from a progressive press user... Sometimes I think it's good to slow the operation down a split second or two for safety's sake. Re: huh?

no case feed? whats da problem? I don't use one either, or a case inserter. I just slide each case into the shell plate manually. I had trouble with the case feeder and had to stop and fill up the tubes, etc. I just got tired of it and chucked the whole thing. While my left hand is placing the bull...

I've been running a Loadmaster for six years now and IMHO the new primer feeders are 95% better than the old white ones with the silders.

Taking the case feeder off solved half of my priming problems and the new primer feeders solved the rest.
