Re: Mikes Turrets

You are so correct!

I have 5 of them. Such an improvement over the sloppy stock turrets.

Re: New Lee Progressive Press?

The set-up I saw seemed to be using station 2 for priming & charging with station 3 for bullet seating & station 4 for factory crimping. I have never wanted to prime & powder charge in the same station on the LLM for safety reasons. However this press seems to prime on the up-stroke &...

Long Delay in Reloading

I have had replacement surgery on both of my knees over the last 2 years so it has been about 2 1/2 years since I have used my LLM's. Today I cleaned & lubed one real good as I set it up for 9mm. Ran 100 through it without a glitch, using case feeder & tubes & most all of Magic Mike's mo...

Re: Is anybody out there?

I've had knee replacement surgery several weeks ago but still have managed to check by occasionally. There just didn't seem to be any questions or problems anyone had so I haven't posted much. I guess everyone else is like me--LM's are "tuned up" & "modified up" so that they ...

Re: Adjustable Charge Bar

It's been a while since I have used mine & I realize this is an old post, but I believe that you need to adjust the depth of the powder measure in the die holder to make the disc move back just a little farther on the down stroke. This will align the drop tube with the disc cavity.

Re: Ram assembly

Don't know of a parts diagram for the LLM.

Go to "titan reloading"--On left side, go all the way down & click on "Product Instructions"--Click on "LoadMaster"
An 8 page sheet of instructions should appear. The pictures on there might show you what you need.

I would contact Lee.

They have been known to be very good about warranty replacement of parts.

Re: Hi Folks from Italy !

Welcome Ugo and thanks for your post. You sound like an old-timer like me (82yrs). You and I had a similar background as I was reared by a hunter Dad. My favorite uncle was also a big hunter. I began hand loading for my 30-06 hunting rifle when I was about 20. Since then I have acquired many caliber...

Re: Why???

My 1st guess would be the .223 primer system. So many commercial cases are crimped & are difficult to re-prime. I always have to prep my .223 cases by reaming the crimp & reworking the primer pocket. Off the press case prep is a must for .223. While I'm doing this I just go ahead & re-pr...

Re: changed carrier today

You did good. These LLM's will work but you have to be somewhat mechanical minded to keep them working smoothly. I think a lot of the complaints are from users who have similar problems as yours & they don't know where or how to trouble shoot it. Happy reloading with it for another 24 years! Erle

Re: Small primer slider for older priming system

Actually, my advice to you would be to go to Mike's Reloading bench and invest in his ARS system. Ordering replacement sliders from him is child's play. Excellent advice! Although I'm not sure Mike offers that service any more. It would be worth your time to check with him & see. If not, it wou...

Re: LM Setup for .243 Winchester...

I think you will really like taking time to check case length & trim & chamfer each case. I also clean out each primer pocket thoroughly before replacing primer. I then precisely measure each powder load. I am still using an old 2-die C-H full length die set for .243. Began reloading with th...

Mike is a retired engineer who loves to shoot and reload. Being an engineer he has devoted many, many hours to trying to improve the Lee Load Master. He is also a super nice guy and is always willing to share what he has learned and tried with others here on the forum. I understand there are a few r...
