I did quite a bit of work to modify my bullet feeder but never did get it to work right. To be honest, I'm a little paranoid and want to look into every casing to check the powder amount before seating a bullet. Tough to do that accurately with the bullet feeder in the way so scrapped it.

Or you could start using a standard case holder from your single stage press. Fits right in you know? Don't have a single stage press, using a Load Master. The shell holder and new style collet were about the same price so went with the collet. I had also read the post about detonating a bullet whi...

Bullet puller fix

Was loading some 9mm on my LoadMaster and loaded up about a dozen without primers before I realized that they weren't sliding down the chute. Went to pull them to recover the brass and bullets and my impact puller started messing up. I thought the problem was the cheap collet or the hammer being che...

I've had problems with them backing out as well. Haven't had the tray jump out, but have had it back out enough for primers to jam up and stop feeding. They're not all like that, but enough of them that you have to keep a close eye on it to make sure primers are going down the chute.

I've shot thousands of rounds of Freedom Munitions ammunition, both new and reman. No problems whatsoever. I've also reloaded a ton of both FM and Ammoload brass without any problems. I have heard of people having separation of the brass at the shelf when loading for 9mm major power factor, but reme...

I didn't think $11.99 with the bracket was so expensive.

For tipped cases, at least in 9mm, I found it was the case feeder being just a bit high. Lower a thread at a time to find the sweet spot. For the collator, I've been using tygon tubing inserts in each tube. I still have the occasional upside down case, but not very often.

Just ran a 600 rounds of 9mm. Unfortunately, my run didn't come out as well as others. On 3 of the 4 trays that I have, The slide doesn't go all the way to the top of the slot. That means that the primers would occasionally bunch up and bridge couldn't get into the chute. The shoe is just a tad too ...

I think they're easier to load since the unfolded tray is bigger and covers the complete primer tray. Takes just a bit to get used to as primers tend to settle in the fold. However, they are easy to shake down to the bottom. It's a little different feel than the round one and isn't as sturdy. The pr...

Looks like it starts as a square when open. You dump the tray in, and then fold it in half and lock it down. At least that's what it looks like. Looks like it'll be bigger than most primer package trays so you won't be dropping any when putting in a new tray of primers. Just educated guesses there. ...

new folding primer tray

http://leeprecision.com/folding-primer-tray-2-pack.html Anyone using the new trays? Was looking to get a couple of extra trays and covers to speed up the process by having them loaded and ready. Then discovered that the covers for the round trays are no longer made. These are supposed to be the new...

I can run 3-400 an hour but I take my time. I also periodically check length as well as throw some in a case gauge. Boxing up the ammo, refilling the feeder tubes and primers also takes time. Plus there's a finite amount of time i can put on my back before taking a break.
