still need? I have some extra LCT I could part with. I'd have to check first and make sure they didn't get mis placed, but I should have 2-3 extra I'm not using

it may have been hanging up near where the metal cylinder area meets the drop tube and auto disk riser. There seems to be male and female parts that were either getting gummed up with powder, or just out of lube. tried some graphite powder and it seems to be better. Will have to keep an eye on it.

Pro auto disk problems

I'm having some powder measure issues with my Auto disk unit. Sometimes it will not return all of the way, seems to get stuck again on the way back where it will pick back up powder from the hopper. Results in partial charges. I've taken it apart a few times and cannot see what is causing it to hang...

I had an idea the other night. I tried modifying a auto disk at one point based off of someone's suggestion that drilling/tapping a larger hole and using a screw to "limit" cavity space would work as an adjustable charge bar of sorts. My implementation of that was a mess. Powder would hang...

Friend just bought a pro1000 for 357mag. Any special tips

I have a LCT and a LLM, but no pro 1000's. My friend bought a pro1k for 357 magnum and I wanted to ask about any special advice on setup. I've done some of the usual Lee mods for the autodisk and the priming systems for my other lee presses. I assume that I should pay attention to those areas. Not s...

yeah most of my sessions are 300-500rnds each. I try to load 1-2k(all the 9mm brass I have until I get more) of 9mm to stock up over a few nights work, but I've been shooting at least 300-500 per week, and sometimes I've done over 1k/wk when my buddy comes over(he's still in college so I let him sho...

Re: s45

Sparky, you'll love em. Sets for each of my loadmasters. They have not failed or been in jumpy binding either. Have not lubed in a month. Last batch on decapper lm was 2,200 over few nites. agreed. I just have the actuator myself, but it made my casefeeder actually work :). My stock one would work ...

Chicken or the egg? New caliber to reload, or reload to buy

stupid thought of the day to make someone hopefully LoL. In my OCD mind, and I feel OCD seems well suited to reloading lol. I find myself "convincing" myself to buy a new caliber gun b/c "it would be fun", "it has ballistics I desire", or "I just want it". Inv...

can someone show pics of how the lower primer door

I took my lower primer door, plates etc... off a while back. I think I put it together wrong b/c my lower pivot pin is now loose and moves back and forth. I need to get it fixed so I don't goober something else up.

Just need to see/know how it is SUPPOSED to go back together
thx

lol I agree with Mike. I've taken to checking my drops AFTER I "waste"(put back) 4-5 shells of powder. I do that to let powder settle. I agree about the baffle. I'm using a Hornady baffle. I think any standard baffle will work, you may just need to tweak/bend it a bit to fit. After my baff...

Thx Mike.
