Just an update, everything is working well, Factory crimp die is a great addition. Getting the primer depth set right was the hardest part of setup. And my home made powder reset rod works perfect!

Looked in my order history, figured I need to find them since the frame and slide for this ones twin is still sitting here.

Haha, sorry, been cold and snowing so I loaded about 50 more with no operational issues, but have not gone out to fire them for function test. Seems everything works great, I did order a LEE factory crimp die to try out. Meanwhile since i was trapped indoors I decided to finally finish a build I jus...

First test run had primers not igniting, wanted to blame the Wolf primes, but found that they weren't fully seating. After readjustment everything worked perfect. Happy so far with it !

Lap the disks to get them flat as they are not. After lapping the disks you may need to reduce the leg height on the aluminum base by lapping them to insure a tight seal between the hopper and the powder disk. If you will do this it won't leak. mike That was my first though for a fix, My measures a...

Ya, i usually just load 10 or so, step outside and try them, then continue from there.

I notice the disk powder measure has some powder leaking out on top of the disk, probably under it to. Is there a way to reduce this?

Got my priming system today, once i got everything set right I ran about 25 rounds without a hiccup !

Tomorrow I will go out back and fire those for function test, then I will runn a bigger batch through.

Hmm, strange, I have 6 white ones and there is an obvious difference between them for large and small primers. All im going to need is large for now, I'm glad I ordered the whole system to be sure.

Dumb question time........ I ordered a new Large primer system, its red. The ones I have are all white for both large and small. Are the newer Red and Black ones of a better more reliable design ?

This setup also accomplishes the same ass the chain setup, only more reliably. I chose it over the spring return setup for that reason. I just got this press and not used to it yet, so I wanted to keep the chance of error to a minimum.
