Interest in shell plate for .45 Auto Rim?

I am interested in having Lee make a 13L shell plate for the Loadmaster press such that I can load .45 Auto Rim on my Loadmaster presses. Lee makes a .45 Auto Rim shell plate to fit their smaller progressive press, but not the Loadmaster. I inquired of Lee, and they responded that it would cost me a...

Lots of reports of scams

I regularly see warnings such as this on the HKPro forum:

I have so darned much bullet lubricant of either tranditional, or Lee dip lube, that I am not really interested in other lubes. I have always been happy with both.

I like the Dillon seat die with cast bullets

The Dillon seat die allows you to disassemble it to clean out accumulated bullet lube, without losing adjustment. If you shoot cast bullets, this is huge. I cast my own bullets, cast them very hard, and they are at least .001" over groove diameter on seating. I have had no problem with leading ...

Reinstalling Carrier

I am looking for references on how to reinstall my shellplate carriers after MM gets done reworking them. IIRC, the Lee instructions have instructions on recalibrating a carrier. Are there any other references I should be paying attention to?

Add two of these to my order

I recently sent two carriers off to MM to get reworked. It looks like I will want two of these also, one for each of my presses.

Why did you modify the powder measure to use a spring return

I looked back through your earlier posts and at your website, and I can not see any mention of what problem you were having with the Lee lamp pull chain. I have seen mention of them snapping, but it has never happened to me.

Almost all my own castings

I shoot a lot of .40 S&W at Bowling Pins. For this I use the 175gr Lee Tumble Lube bullet. For everything else I shoot conventional grooved & NRA formula lubed bullets: .38 & .357 get the Thompkins SWC, .44 gets the 429421 or 429244, .45 auto gets the Lee 200gr SWC, and 9mm gets the Lee ...

Bullet diameter can change with composition

Most of the Lead I have used in the past was Wheelweights, to which I added about 2% Tin.

My mold dropped bullets that were a shade over .401".

I did get some Leading from them in one Beretta 96 barrel, but it had a oversize groove diameter.

How much faster that non-automated?

I've come across two Star sizers for about $125 each in the past 10 years. I could not get the video to play, and I am just wondering how much faster the automation makes them.

I have a Rock Dock

I have not used it that much, but it's quite solid. I use the same position for lubricating, and the system allows easy heating of the lubricators, of which I have 5, in addition to two LoadMasters and two Rockchuckers.
