Re: Custom dies?

Not the answer your looking for but I'll chime in anyway. Because the ogive profile (of any die manufacture) never seem to fit 99% of my cast bullets I just order extra seating stems for that seating die. Using a little epoxy putty on the stem, grease the nose of bullet and form your own custom fit....

Re: 3D Printing Powder Disks

I hope these get marketed. I'm to old and tech challenged to even consider making them. It would be nice to be able to drill the cavities to fill the CC voids. Thanks for sharing these innovative ideas.

Why can't you do the drop test or see what length will feed from your magazine and work up from there? Why won't It will work the same way?

Re: Berry's bullet question

I cast all my bullets. I have 4 different molds for the 45 Auto from 160 to 230gr. With autoloader pistols I use the plunk test most of the time but for one of the 230gr bullets I seat it to a depth to fit the magazine, (it is seated deeper than seems appropriate). In other words I've never been to ...

Re: I thought this was cool

Not the same company but does most of the same things. I have one for my 550B and really enjoy the many statistics it keeps as well as tracking the tracking of powder and primer and remind you when to refill before you run out. It also has the out of sequence errors buzzer. http://www.pressmonitorde...

Re: Cleaning up the workbench

Thanks for starting this topic. Interestingly I too am in the middle of "cleaning up my benches. As a result of downsizing from 5 benches to 3 benches and still having a lifetime collection of to much stuff (that I can't live without) I needed to utilize available space. I discovered these pegb...

Here is a good link to read if you use shellholders in a kinetic bullet puller. https://www.shootersforum.com/warning-notices-recalls/50347-inertial-bullet-puller-warning.html Response #10 has an illustration that explains the possible cause. I've been using the Quinetic collet for 8 years at least....

Dont you dare! There are many people who will pay (wery) good money for the old ones. I have two and love them and i'm looking for a spare (just in case). Yep, IMO the old round trays are superior for my "old" stuff. I need them for now obsolete Auto Prime II. Fortunately I have 6 of thes...
