"What do you do with a round with a flipped primer? Toss it? " I've seen comments like this in other posts. Would you actually throw this in the garbage? Even with a backwards primer, it still has powder and a projectile in it. Ive never thrown out anything that could go boom. Imaging you ...

You can press them out. I do it all the time. Nice and slow.

Of course use all the proper safety precautions, like glasses, etc..

I have this highly advanced organic powder detection system, whereby I focus my ocular receptors on the semi transparent receptacle, to determine the remaining amount of explosive propellant.

(i.e. I look at the powder measure)

Pretty advanced to be sure :D

I do not size and prime on the same stroke. All shells get sized and deprimed first. Then I start the reloading process (Prime, Powder, bullet and crimp). I believe there are too many things happening on the "up stroke" of the press. You have no "feel" for how things are fitting ...

Why would the rigging to your counter change? You could probably keep using the chain for that if you wanted, or switch to a high quality nylon string.

The top loop of the spring comes right off, then I can loop it onto the bottom of the chain to get it out of the way. I don't loose any adjustment when I take it off. Gets cleaned every time I'm done using it. Blow it off with the air hose, wipe it down, lube it up. Cant afford to have sticky primer...

When it happened to me, it blew up all the primers (about 30) and I couldn't find one that was not blown up. The primer feed and primer tray was blown into pieces no larger then 1/2" square. There were pieces clear across my 3 car garage. It scared the crap out of me. No powder/explosion shield...

That's what I need. I already have a 802.11G wireless network card in the PCMCIA slot. I have to make sure the USB card will fit in the remaining slot. It should. Easy solution for under $5.

Thanks,

In the middle of reloading, my chain broke. I looked over my bench and saw a spring that I bought at a surplus store (Who knows why and it's been sitting there for 10 months), and a leftover chain from a florescent light I just put up. Snip, Snip, and there you have it. The mother of invention. It's...
