It uses the same shellplate as the 50 S&W. The shellplate number for the loadmaster is 16L and although Lee doesn't list it on the site you can call them to order it or you can email them. I bought one from them and never used it so i sold it to a member here. The price is the same as the other ...

The Makarov mold is in stock! http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=184 I came here to post this, but i see you've beat me to it. Ranchdog made a slight change to the ogive (tangent to secant) to allow better feeding in some pistols, but i never experience...

Yeah i think they quickly went back to the slot. I only have one with the holes in it and i had to file and grind one slot to get it to accept cases. If you were to get a protruding sideways primer you would have to remove the shellplate and try to pick the primer out just to remove the case. If you...

Maybe both are correct as far as "slop" is concerned, but I sure don't see where MM's plate would be a detriment of any kind and could only help. Fact I'm thinking it might also be a real benefit on the LCT. There's a lot of "wobble" with the turret in that press, how much it ef...

I will take issue with you in regard to the turret not being a contributor in OAL differences. There is in fact some movement of the shell plate but on my press there is a lot more movement in the turret. I have six turrets and all will rock front to back anywhere from .006" to .010" no m...

The only problem I notice is that, at the top of the stroke the turret moves upwards a tiny bit. Enough that my settings are off on oal. When i change calibers or set up a new turret i place a loaded round in station four and an empty case in station one and raise the ram before tightening the lock...

Re: Turret stabilizer with pictures

At this time ALL the slack should be eliminated from the turret preventing it from tilting and greatly improving the ability to hold OAL dimensions and primer seating depth settings especially at the end of a loading session when the forces on the press get disrupted due to the loss of a case in th...

This should resolve the issues with inconsistent OAL. OAL issues with the loadmaster are not caused by the turret. They are caused by the play in the shellplate. The turret on the loadmaster has less movement than any progressive made (with removable tool heads). Just use a little locktite on the l...

They must have changed it then, I had one in 95' that auto indexed. Maybe I had to buy a "auto index kit" seperately, don't recall. Yep, the three holer was available with or without auto index. If they are no longer offering the auto index version of the three hole turret and someone wan...

I should have tried to win it and stuck it under the bench for future use. I have never seen one go that cheap before.

Found for sale cheap second loadmaster

I found this on gunbroker, but it is about to end. Someone may be able to pick it up for less than fifty bucks. I considered it, but just don't have bench space for a fourth press. The guy also has ome cheap turrets and shellplates.

Where does he collect the requests?

I'm not sure... i guess you could email him from his website. I think he will probably take requests on the castboolits forum if the results are good.

Because the tubes don't hold enough long cases to save any time.
