Thanks, waterman - I did read that post, and others - I also watch all of the videos available and followed all of the indexing instructions I could find, and discussed this issue with the Lee people three times before sending it back for adjustment.

Before shipping it back, I inspected the square plastic ratchet, it was fine, no damage.

Update!

I finally set up my reloading stuff last week, and right off the bat I had indexing problems. I read all of the instructions, watch all of the videos, called Lee, received more instructions - nothing helps. I was instructed to sent it back for adjustments, it's going back today... of course it could...

New to Reloading

My new Lee Classic Turret Press is still in the box. I'm looking for a video showing/explaining the initial set-up - specifically, the die set-up in all four stages, as well as the powder measure set-up. If there is such a video, please point me to the link. Much appreciated. Thank you. Pete (The Ol...

Thanks very much all - I'll temporarily use my heavy-duty shop's workbench, which is on heavy casters, and gage it from there. I appreciate your responses.

The UPS left a nice package for me today, my reloading equipment and other reloading goodies. I now have to find the right place to get started, and may have to build a special bench to do it. What is your mode of reloading, sanding or sitting? Sitting sims a bit awkward when moving that lever, I th...

Flash!

Finally! - I ordered the Lee Classic Cast Turret Press (pic below). I have the following books: "The ABCs of Reloading" and the "Lyman 49th Edition Reloading Handbook - Do I need a "Manual", or some sort of a chart, or am I all set? Thanks. - Pete http://img.photobucket.com/...

You bet - I've been in the reloading "thinking" stage for several years now: should I, or shouldn't I. Normally it takes me a while to decide on things that are not absolutely necessary... but I'll get there.

New To Reloading

... Actually. I've not yet started to reload, and new to this board as well. As posted elsewhere, I am leaning on getting the Lee Classic Cast Turret Press, and need assistance with a list of items needed to start reloading. I'd like some "automation" included - like automated primer dispe...
