Fast doesn't give anyone anything other than something to brag about. Fast will cause mistakes. If fast is what one wants, go to the store and buy it already loaded. That's about as fast as it gets. :)

cl9, geez, don't try to feed that "can't afford a rifle to us". You've spent more on crap you now have gotten rid off than what a rifle would have cost!!! :P

cl9, are you talking about swaging the primer pockets? If so, I use the rcbs press mount swager and have had excellent results with it. Once in awhile a pocket will still have a "ring" around so it gets deburred. I like to swage better than deburr as no material is removed from the pp.

I ground a cutting edge on each edge so it will cut better, took a little bit of time to grind it, but was worth it to have the correct taper or very close to it.

Yup, take a spade bit, can't remember what size I used right off, maybe 3/4" and grind a taper on it to match the taper of the handle. Worked great! :)

Most reloading manuals state that primer depth should be .001-.006, with .004 being optimum below flush. FWIW

I've always torqued mine to the Lee spec with nary a problem, but then I do it once and its set. Only needed to change two due to crack in the carrier. :)

I use all brands and the only one I have ever had go off was CCI, happened two different times, once set off 2 or 3 primers and the second time set of all that were in the trough or as near as I could tell. I think it has a lot to do with what has caused the primer to go off.
