Topic: BIG PROBLEM WITH NEW PRIMER TRAYS

One of my secrets to successfully operating the LLM is to go SLOW & EASY. (Sometimes I forget & that's when the MM primer system messes up) That was after I had forgotten once! The other day when I went to load up some new primers I noticed that the new primer tray had backed out some. I now...

Looks like each reference says it is a Marlin 81 so the other name on it must be Marlin. That explains why no Remington date code! My early model bolt action Remington with tubular feed is a model 512. I used it for years as my squirrel hunting rifle. No serial number but only a date code. It is con...

Darwin, I have an old Remington, single shot, .22 without any serial number. It is a model 514. It could be the same model that Remington made for Western Auto. Firearm serial numbers were not required until 1968 so I assume that is when Remington began using them. Before that they used a date code....

I have had 2 Lee shell plates for the LLM that I have had to touch up with my dremel tool. Don't remember now just which ones they were. I have one for .45 colt so that could have been one of them. Lee will send another. It's just the inconvenience. I just touched mine up & kept it. Their qualit...

use your eyes and mm spring setup on standard hopper & a safety plate ($4). Pencil all of your hopper, it will not stick or load-up. Pencil dwn in the hole too. Get a hopper plate from midway/or maybe titan has em by now. Carload are you talking about the primer safety shield which is now $5.00...

I guess it's the mounting bracket that makes them so much.

They call it a "case catcher" that is included with the mounting bracket in the complete kit.

I know the complete kit comes with the bin but don't know for sure about the press only. I am thinking that the bin does NOT come with the press only. Give Titanreloading.com a call & ask them. It's a good place to purchase your equipment.

All I know about it is that I acquired a new Colt AR-15 2 years ago. The twist is 1:7 & the barrel is NOT chrome lined.

I feel better shooting some grease in each zerk occasionally. I keep one of the miniature grease guns at the bench just for the LLM's.

Mike I believe your thinking is "right on."

I already have 2 propane torches in my shop & don't need to purchase another one.

Both use the small primer feed, so you won't need another primer setup. You can get more primer trays, for instance the new folding kind, 2 in pkg. for $5.00. I keep rifle primers in one & pistol in another. That would make the difference about $18.00.

The .223 press setup will come with a different case feeder also. If you anticipate reloading for the .223 anytime soon, I would personally go ahead & order the press set up for .223. Just keep in mind that for 9mm, you will need an extra turret, shell plate, & pistol case feeder as well. Ti...

With Magic Mike's primer mod the primer runways are graphited & seem to run through smoother. I keep a small tube of graphite handy & about every other time I install a new box of primers, I squirt a small amount of graphite into the runways & slider mechanism. This seems to help. I also...
