That would s'plain it, but isn't there more that's supposed to go with that? No! The bulletfeeder comes with a single "straw" and the multi feeder tube thingy is inserted into that via the aluminium screw on parts. There are two with different internal diameter thus the smaller "stra...

Problem is that the revolver is from 1887 and has Metford rifling. It is well known that that type of rifling is damaged severely by Cordite and jacketed bullets. The reason for the HB is that the chamber throats are on the small side and the bullet relies on the skirt to bump up and grip the riflin...

Re: new primer tray for turret press

Overall I don't care for the new folding trays much, but that said, when I have to offset the powder measure to clear an off brand die it allows clearance so the powder measure doesn't hit the the primer tray. Guess will get used to them. Can't imagine the plastic hinge will hold up , but guess Lee...

for me.

I do have a primer pocket reamer on my case prep. tool, but I prefer the Swager over it.

I de-prime crimped primers by knocking them out with the Lee Crimped Primer tool.

Did a case break and the remaning bit is stuck up there in the innards of the sizer?

Do you have a single stage press?
If so then move the sizing die to that and check for "errors".
Way easier when only one thing is going on at a time.

You cast? Lee makes a great bullet for that: http://leeprecision.com/images/P/90307.jpg http://leeprecision.com/mold-dc-tl309-230-5r.html Several has stated that adding a gas check even though the bullet is not designed for it, greatly decreases group size. I use it for 30-06 and Swiss 7.5x55

Easiest safety measure regarding double charges is using a powder that will (over) fill the case with a double charge. I know it costs some fractions of a cent for every cartridge, but it is nothing compared to a blown gun!!! Dont ask me how i found out  http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm153...
