Re: Case Feeder 9 x 19 mm

WebsterZ has a very simple spring mod that will take care of taller cases tipping over. He calls it the "tip-stop".... Does he have a website to view this mod? Don't think he has a website yet. Send him a private message here on this forum. "WebsterZ". He will reply & send y...

Re: Primer Sliders?

I'm not familiar with spare primer sliders listed as such from Lee. I'm sure you can call Lee & order some spares on the phone. You might be thinking about the spare primer sliders that Magic Mike offers for his primer mod. They will not work however unless the mod has been made to the primer tr...

Re: Stuck case

If it is a Lee Sizing die you can loosen the depriming pin lock nut at top of die, or remove it completely. Then, carefully drive the case out of the die, using the depriming pin as a punch & striking the top of it with a small hammer. I have been using Imperal wax on my cases for several years ...

Re: Primers

Wyr,

I thought at first you had been watching me & was telling on me!

I think each of us can relate to your experience at one time or another.

I have all the good mod's & most of the time now when either of my LLM's don't act right--IT'S ME!

Re: side to side play in Carrier

Welcome back to reloading Rick. The only question I can answer for certain is that the shell plates you have are the older versions & believe it or not--according to most everyone here on this forum--they work better than the newer ones. Many carriers get distorted out of shape or slightly crack...

Re: Lee service is top notch

Nothing to say. Just tired of seeing the same post for the last two weeks. I know what's happened Mike. 1- Those of us who have your mod's have LLM's that work so well we don't have many problems any more so we spend our spare time just reloading, reloading, & reloading. 2- Those who don't want...

Re: Lee service is top notch

I think its who you talk to or what mood they are in when you call. I had 5 turrets that were drilled crooked. Even knowing that they had problems with just about all their 5 hole turrets, they would not accept my photo's. They made me go to the trouble & expense of returning all of them.

Re: Any tips for reliability/sideways primers

You've gotten some mighty good advice. 1- Any time the primer pin pushes a primer up that is not centered--it is likely to catch on the side of the case primer hole & flip. Loosening the case retainer helps & epoxying wire in the grooves is even better. 2- If the primer does not slide out ev...

You've done the most important thing when you made sure your press was steady. You might want to look at Mike's web sight & see all the improvement mod's he has. I have most of them on both of my LLM's & each one seems to help just that much. mikesreloadingbench.com The LLM just doesn't have...

1 case pusher
1 crank actuator
1 rifle case ramp
2 tip-stops

Color doesn't matter.

I noticed that. The tried and true solution is to drill a small hole in the lid of the round style just above the exit and then either put a small peg in the hole until ready to release or bend a paper clip so that the end goes into the hole to block the passage and the rest of the clip lays under ...

I'm using tbe lee long charging die 90194 with the insert that came with it. I'm assuming that insert is the correct one That insert is not the one for .223. It will let powder spill around the case mouth. You need to order insert # SE1253 which is made just for the .22 cal. Worked for me! Look at ...
