Re: Flipper getting stuck

The flipper and index rod shouldn't be coming out that far. It shouldn't come out far enough to be past the ramp in the frame like it shows in the first pic

Try screwing flipper in more. They don't come threaded and use the threads on the end of the rod to cut threads into it. Might have to push in on flipper while turning clockwise to get it to thread in

Re: bullet feeder mod

This mod is a really impressive idea and I wish Lee would implement it on their bullet feeder system. I thought about doing it, but I just use my left finger on the back edge of the fingers (under the wedge shaped base) to keep it from sliding back into position and dropping the bullet because it tr...

I believe they are for spent primers.

Some people remove the slider door from the bottom of the ram and mount a tube up it that's epoxied into the bottom of the carrier to tunnel the spent primers through.

Re: No oiling hole?

I have two Loadmaster presses. One I bought about two years ago and it has no oiling hole but has the smooth powdercoat finish. The other I bought early this year or maybe around last Christmas and it too has no oiling hole but has the rough crinkle type finish. I use those small spray cans of Otis ...

Yup, loosen the 5 set screws on the corners of the plate and the turret, plate, and dies remove as one.

Re: Convert LoadMaster to load 223 or buy single stage or turret?

What's the difference in the #19 and #4s shellplate? I see it's listed as the one for .223 and .380. I have a universal decaper in station 1 and have manually ran some brass into that station to deprime them with no problem using the #19. If the #19 shellplate will work then I guess I'll just need a...

Convert LoadMaster to load 223 or buy single stage or turret?

I currently have two LoadMaster presses set up for different pistol calibers. I'm thinking about starting to reload 5.56/.223 rifle and not sure if I should buy parts to convert one of the LoadMasters or just get a single stage or turret press. I don't shoot the rifle as much as I do my pistols, so ...

It is thin like a knockout in an electrical box. You don't need to drill it out if you want the whole thing removed. Find a socket that fits into the hole and with an extension attached tap it with a hammer and it will knock it out. You could also use a piece of conduit or pipe if you have one that ...

I have 2 loadmasters. The most recent one I bought would sometimes not index due to the bottom of the flipper hitting the rib just after the start of it's downward travel. Seems like what you are describing. i even swapped index rods and shell plates from my other loadmaster that works fine. I tried...

I'd be curious of wear. The carrier is some type of aluminum and the case slider is some type of plastic or polymer. I'm sure if anything wears it'd be the softer/cheaper to replace case slider.

if both are aluminum I'm guessing that whichever is made of the softer type of aluminum would wear more.

If you bought it new i would contact Lee and tell them yours came with the wrong primer system for the caliber the kit was setup for. More than likely they will send you the correct parts
