I have to give my heartfelt thanks to Gillie Dog for recommending Mark D Hamill to upgrade this forum. He did a great job for a good price. I started these forums in 2008 and didn't know how to upgrade it or make any type of improvements.
If you find anything wrong with the new forums, send me a PM and I'll do my best to fix it.
Many thanks to Gillie Dog

Re: Many thanks to Gillie Dog
I added an extension to make the titles of unread forums and posts with new replies red.
The main reason I wanted to do the upgrade was to improve the anti spam stuff.
Normally, I got quite a few new members. Less than half answered my email I send to new members.
Also, I noticed that there were always guests online. 15-20 was normal. Today, it has basically been just me.
I don't know why, though. Weird

Darwin,
You are very welcome and I really did not do much. I saw you were struggling with the upgrade and read up enough to know I could not help and in doing so I stumbled upon Mark. Looks like he helped out.
A couple of bots, google and bing, are usually around but now maybe you have eliminated the majority of fishers. And thus less guests.
Everything is working well for me and the upgrade looks fine on my monitor.
Good job.
GD
