if you dont think your press is moving to much, then make a vid of it, it gets real defined. LLM is the one that really needs to be stable, more than this one.

I put a wooden " post " ( to the floor ) under my LM & it helped stabilize it .

I get longer bolts and put a piece of 1/2"thick 12" long plywood lengthwise under my table/bench...then bolt the press to the table/bench with that underneath.
It works...no wobble in either up or down stroke~!!

Carload, that's been my experience with the Lee plate. I love it for the "flexibility" it provides, but it does seem to induce some flexing from the plate. Interestingly, I get less flex when I use a hardwood base instead of the plate.

my table is 800 lbs steel. I like darwins base plate on his load master so i am having one made rite now 3/8 inch thick. Shaft legs down to concrete also. The lil' LCTP is fine with base plate kit but i might do some more stuff to it. The 3 holes on left and 3 holes on right are huge. But they need to be used/filled. The custom steel plates like darwin's are the best. [/u]
