help! the turret want seat on the ball.

Postby carload9 » Tue May 14, 2013 8:06 pm

The turret will not seat on the ball, is ball spring yo weak or how do you adjust it?

edit @9:32,,, ok i kept working on it. It fairly good rite now. Loading 380. Hand feeding boolits and took ejector off for 380's. Now 10:30 and loaded over 100 rnds with problems. Using lee FCD also on these 380acp's. If the classic just had a case feed, hehehehe! I still think ball spring is lil' weak and indent stop of turret should be more precision and positive. Just a lil'. Its still a fun machine.

Well you got me confused for sure....what detent ball are you talking about?? I have a classic turret press and there ain't no "ball" on it anywhere...there is a "nut" on the top of the index rod that the turret sits over but no detent ball...

this something that you've added/changed on the press....

Alrite now, you'all behave. See what ya can learn from a newbie.

I can adjust the index rod too with the turret, we'll not fully understand, but i dialed it in. I made some calls.

Gotta love my light. It does not point in your eyes.
