I hit the submit button too soon.
Just thought a lot of people are not aware of this. I why I made this post.

Some other names for .380 ACP include .380 Auto, 9mm Browning, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9mm Short, and 9?17mm.

Yep, confusing isn't it? I have the Beretta Cheetah, 84F in .380. Nice gun!

Is yours stamped the same way?

Yes, it is stamped with Cal. 9 Short and .380 Auto. Mine is circa 1994 or so, I understand that some earlier models were stamped differently, but I have never seen one.

I got this one for my Daughter, but she had too much trouble with the slide. I took it for another trip to the range before trading it in for something else. Liked it so much I kept it.

I took her to the gun shop, had her check out quite a few pistols. that is when they had started selling Walther PK380 pistols. It is close to the same as her Walther P22 and she can operate everything with no problem.

She has turned into a pretty good shot and has been telling me she needs a couple more pistols. Even talking about getting a 9 or 40.

I had a similar experience. I started my daughter on a Beretta Jetfire 950 in the late 80's. She now owns several pistols. Her favorite saying regarding guns is: "Guns are like shoes, you need a pair for every season"
