loaded cases tipping onto shell plate

Postby rowe_s » Sat Mar 13, 2010 7:44 pm

When loading 380s I had a few finished rounds tip onto the shell plate when they should have ejected. I fixed a spring wire to help slide cartridges out of the press. Seems to help with 40, 45, and 223 also.

The pictures show how I mounted it. When the carrier rises this just compresses out of the way between the dies.

Great fix Steve, I extended the chute with a piece of a side off a cola can.
