bought a ruger380/LCP

This is where we can talk about our guns. I'd particularly like to see reviews and range reports of your guns, especially if it is a model that others may not be familiar with.

mic holster from glock tech.com And galloway precision is a nice drive to visit my brother and i can watch complete lcp mods install. Plus ruger is hiring 4,500 people 2 hours away in rockingham county. Remingtons home office is in same county and they may move here one day. My friend is opening ammo company out by airport. I may have plated bullets in 2 months. Yay! There is no more leadlubed bullets in my house. Only all calibers are stained with hi-tek and cooked twice.

No, will shoot it after lunch today. My hi-tek stained boolits. I just cleaned it last nite with alcohol and loaded 380's on LLM. What a blast. Gonna sell my wee cwassick turret. Why would i need to keep it? I have 4 llm heads, and load 4 pistol rounds only. I have two LM's.

380 ruger small one!

Postby carload9 » Fri Aug 23, 2013 4:36 am

smallest ruger 380 for carry, ran 70 thru yesterday. Tried off handed yesterday with camera in other hand, one failure to feed. Ordered a 21$ magguts.com for the one mag you get. Machine work is really great under a x2 magnifier. Ran a 108 gr bullet/mak nose/no lubed groove/stained twice with hi tek supercoat/sized in star @ .355. Best mold and only mold i want for 380/custom NOE mold. Ive cast 3000 this week. Could use in 9mm too.

Shooting again today and everday til i get 500 thru it, clean it each day.

Support hand shooting sometimes causes feed problems. Was my experience when I first started, just had to correct my hold.

yea, tryin to see limp hold and failures,,, not bad at all. Hold on lil' tighter and it want. Taking it to galloway precision, that should make it better. And rugers new 4000 employee factory in NC, 2 hours away. Rite down the street from remingtons home office in madison nc.

Some parts of retirement aren't to bad for me. I just fixed a big old bacon and egg sandwich, Watching Fox News, after I clean the kitchen up I'm gonna go to a couple local gun shops and bull shit for a while.

After that I'll try to make it look like I have been busy before Cindy gets home from the library where she works.

Sounds like your going to like the LCP.

Ya gotta love retirement. My routine sounds similar. I added some fresh veggies to the breakfast mix, tomato and Cucumber slices. I have to see about getting a trench dug to lay a gas line to the shop, tired of the Propane burner.

Sparky,

you can get the CSST for outside use to run that gas line.

Then just core a hole in the wall run a Black Iron nipple through the wall and make your connections. A little Quick Plug around the nipple and your ready to go. Then you can run Black Iron to your heater.

Yeah 454, that's what I'm getting. I'll have to run about 130'. I had a Propane rep. offer to sell me a 125 gal. tank with regulator for $350 + $1.55 a gal. for the Propane. So, the NG route looks to be the best for me, I just have to find a digger.

Or just use a spade and set that line about 8" or 10" below grade.

Don't forget to change the orifaces in your heater from Propane to Natural Gas.
