Built TCP 380

This is where we can talk about our guns. I'd particularly like to see reviews and range reports of your guns, especially if it is a model that others may not be familiar with.

Built TCP 380

Postby carload9 » Sun Jan 04, 2015 6:39 pm

This is one bad TCP, runs like a colt.
1) Gallowayprecision.com
a.metal trig, he installed (i drove over there).
b.and his floor plate, allows lil' 380 to hold 8 total rnds.

2) from ruger home page, their upgrade fire pin and spring l installed in TCP.
l had extra ruger barrel, yep it drops rite in.

3) Chris in raleigh nc (owner of diamondback forum) built the hammer catch &
l installed and polished & stoned some parts inside then re-blued.

4) stock mag, this tcp never fails. Over 1400 rnds thru it.

5) shoot 115,120 grain hi-tech in it.

Taurus service is terrible, so l built the dang thing myself. Taurus also bought diamondback firearms too. They have shat on alot of peeps. They have started selling parts kits online, thats a payback.

I have one of the Taurus TCP's and I love it too. It was my preferred carry gun in the summer, but now I have a Sig P238 which I like a little better. Both are very reliable. I do not see the extended floor plate on the Galloway web site. Is it something special you have to ask him for?
