Since this would work with both the Pro 1000 and the Loadmaster, I decided to put it here.
One of the only things I don't like about the case feeder, is that there is no way to "turn it off". If something goes wrong, you need to either cycle the thing till the tube is empty, or unbolt the hole unit.
I drilled a 1/8 inch hole through each tube, right above the cylinder plate, I then bent a paper clip and attached it to the tubes with a rubber band. Had I not done this, I'd always be looking for something to stick in the hole.
I can now insert the clip at a downward angle, catch the bottom of a case, and raise it enough to push the clip in to the second hole.
Now I only have to cycle one case before I can service the press.

I drilled holes in all four tubes, so I just move the clip to whichever one is in front at the time.

When I had a case feeder and needed to "shut it off", I'd poke the bottom case upwards with something and turn the tubes slightly so the cases wouldn't drop any more. Your method is more elegant

That is clever.

Sometimes tumbling media clogs my case feeder at the bottom. One walnut grain may stuck all the stack. I hate this - it ends up of removing a tube and picking spilled shells all over the bench. With the little holes the tube can be removed and put back without emptying it.

My biggest problem was .40 S&W cases nested inside my .45 ACP cases. That would lock things up unexpectedly!

It never got that far. The .40 case stuck out the top of the .45 case enough that it was too tall to feed out of the case feeder.

Pesky 45s & 9s give me a hard time when I'm loding 40s. I have started lookin closer at my cases before putting them in the collator. That helped, but it seems like I get that deer in the headlight look and putem in anyway.

Nice Idea. I didn't know how to stop the flow of casings if there was a problem to deal with. Same with the bullet feeder. If there's bullets in the tube, they drop until the last casing gets crimped. Thanks for the idea. The photos are nice too.
