I loaded up some .44 Magnum the other day on the Loadmaster using a set of Lee Dies. I had an old steel Lyman set before I got the Lee Carbide. I think that I have enough .44 Magnum rounds loaded with the new dies to say that I think that the Lyman seater does a much better roll crimp. I am seating and crimping with the same die in the second to last station. I may install the Lyman seater in the last station (which is now empty) to only crimp, but I am not yet sure.

Re: Lee Seating die vs. others
Using two seating dies (second one with the seater removed of course) is a very good way to seat and crimp separately. It's the preferred method I use vs the Lee CFCD.
