300 lbs of .45 ACP. 5.5 lbs per hundred rounds. I have a cat litter bucket of ammo that weighs 109 lbs. lol
2 ammo boxes at 62 lbs each and the rest is in my closet.

Bullets are MIA

I went to Berry's bullets today and looked for bullets. Every one I checked in .45 ACP and 9mm are sold out. I figured they would be. I expect the same is true for powder and primers, too.

I have powder and primers. No need for me to reload. I have about 5,000 rounds of .45 ACP in my basement

12 years ago today

is when I accidentally shot myself in my right leg with a .45. It was negligence, not an accident. Guys at Glocktalk collected some money for me and I used that money to start a web site about it, and my Lee reloading site and this forum. Here is my web page about it. http://negligentdischarge.com

Cap and ball revolvers

I inherited a cap and ball replica revolver. I am reading up all I can on it, but does anyone know of any good books on these weapons?

Does anyone here shoot them?

Re: Where is everyone?

There are also "bots" which search engines use to scan web sites for updates to their databases. There are 7 of these that have been here this month, 3 already today. They show up as guests.

Re: Where is everyone?

I had one forum that non-members could post in - the one about how to register for the forums. I just looked at it and it had over 4,400 posts - posted by "guests" and selling "medicines". I just deleted the whole damn forum, it would have been too much work to delete the posts o...

Where is everyone?

No posts or comments since December 17. Is the board still working?

Re: Berry's bullets - load data

I looked up loads for lead and plated bullets and split the difference. I had a chronograph at the time, so I could check and adjust if necessary.

I later shot the chronograph with my AK47. Accidentally, of course.

Re: New Lee Progressive Press?

That's an interesting press. Like the LM, a very unique design.

I read the linked PDFs. It looks like it can be set up for fully automatic operation except the priming. It looks like you must place a primer in the primer cup for each round.

An oily rag or an SOS pad. The first may give them protection against rusting again.

I have a copy of this and am using it to make the needed modifications on my Load Master press. It is very informative.
